Re: What's consuming your time today?
FINALLY finishing up a couple of skins with historically correct numberplates for a-rod's Delta S4 - based upon his existing paintjob for an early prototype S4. Rear numberplates kindly provided by DonaemouS.

Another desk, a bit more obvious:

I'm immersed in a new spare time activity - NeedForSleep: Baby - The Way To Exhaustion. It's really exciting, if you can stay awake

Managed to bump into this site, which appears to be run by a friend of leo's, while looking for info on why the British winter is so cold/snowy this year. Take a look and be afraid, be very afraid...

Re: What's consuming your time today?
OK - it's not consuming my time so much today (merry X-mas to all :-) but it is another great iPad racing game - called RECKLESS RACING HD.
It's just € 0,79 now and the graphic is fluid and brilliant. It is bird view controlled and funny.

One of the things that had to be done in 2010
the year was drawing to a close and I still hadn't fulfilled one of my New Years resolutions for 2010. Luckily, just in time (at 6pm local), a member of the extended family asked if I want to have a ride in a Porsche 997 Targa 4S. Knowing that I don't have the job, the means or a good justification (ok, the latter could be arranged) to actually own one of these, I said "well, if I have to..."
Needles to say that it was quite an experience, especially after I took the wheel. I stalled the engine immediately (from years of turbo-diesel driving, I wanted to get the car rolling carefully by just releasing the clutch... well, the 911 didn't like that), grabbed for the ignition key, didn't find it, remembered that Porsche puts it left of the steering wheel and set off again.
All the controls are well weighted, if not to say a bit heavy, but that's perfect for what the car is supposed to do. The steering doesn't pose any questions, it's just there and points the car where you want it. The gear change with a nice clack. The brakes need some stepping onto. But more importantly, it moves. And the engine just sounds great. Eyes on the road and the rev counter, I had good fun, without daring to go near the car's limits. Not on public roads, not if I don't own the car. Sure, the all wheel drive gave a bit of confidence as well.
Anyway, I had fun and fulfilled one of those things you just have to do in live, even if it is only for 15 minutes.

Re: What's consuming your time today?
I wonder if I will ever have a chance to drive a real sport car. In the waiting, I continue to get practice inside games =)
Re: What's consuming your time today?
I did it. rFactor on Mac, without the rubbish of bootcamp, parallels and other things. I don't know if multiplayer working. I will let you know after a real test...
