Holy crap, I know where the clip of the guy at he begining of the song saying "this things not over" comes from. Slaughter House Five, film of Kurt vonnegut's novel. I can't remember where I left my shoes, but I remember that.

Liked Juno Reactor and Basement Jaxx for driving around late at night when 18/19. ...ten years ago. Christ, I'm getting up there.

Jimi Hendrix probably had the most profound influence on me as a teenager:

a genius that was taken too early from the world like many before and after him ... 30 years later and he still makes covers of all music media

this man was a big influence in my grade school days, i even got a chance to see him live in concert in 1987 when i was 10 ... and yes i blame my parents! Twisted Evil

It's not their song, but rather a ripoff from the musical Tabaluga. Scooter's first single Vallée De Larmes was an original composition, but then Hyper Hyper came out (original: Ultra-Sonic - Annihilating Rhythm) and from that point and onwards it was downhill. Out of Scooter's 40 singles, only a handful can be said to be their own.

Here's a nice exception from 1994:

Yuck, I can't believe I just posted Scooter in a thread called "songs of your life". Of the songs posted so far, Juno Reactor is probably the one closest to being an open door into my musical realm.
