So, now that there are some GT3 cars in the works - should we prefix the names with "GT3", much as Giles did with his F1 cars and Thomm did with his Group II trio?

The alternative would be to shove 'em near the base cars.

IMHO Giles' F1 pack is the exception. I would always prefer "Marque Model Variant" because that's the way my brain works.

If there are going to be more than a few GT3 cars, I'd put the GT3 part at the end of the name. Otherwise I'd like them all to be in the same spot.

I know of seven cars right now. pirat

Nine if certain individuals can be convinced (though prying the Exige from Thom may be, uh, hard).

i think the idea of grouping would be awesome, being that the poor car selection screen will not change anytime soon. should make for finding similar car classes much easier imho.

It can certainly work either way. If the consensus points to keeping them with their base cars, they should at least sport a 'GT3' on the logo to set them apart.

There are several elise/exige freebie models out there. Nobody reserves the right to exclusive production of any car. As long as it's an original take, it's fair game.

Oh, sure - just nobody's stepped up to the plate and as far as I'm concerned a donation from Thomm is a load easier than converting a car myself.

...I hate writing/tweaking .car files.
