Need for Speed: World
Need for Speed World is the latest (lol?) racing game from EA. Yes, they have about 3 or 4 games actually released or coming to a platform near you or me, or him.
World... Ok, which are the difference from, lets say, Shift? Is a mmorg (massively multiplayer online racing game, zzzZzzzh). Marc De Vellis, game producer, announced a Macintosh version as well:
Much like Battlefield Heroes before it, the client is a free download, and (according to the development team) it'll run on just about any Windows PC. "It'll run on pretty much any laptop, desktop, or even Netbook," De Vallis told us, and hinted that a Mac client will also be developed soon after launch. The goal, it seems, is to make Need for Speed accessible to absolutely everyone, and then when we're all hooked - that's when the revenue generation will begin.
So, prepare yourself community, we will have a new game to move on too?
lets talk about
Re: Need for Speed: World
NfS has always been arcade and will remain arcade. I don't see a reason for leaving a sim for that, but hey, maybe we could steal a few textures from cars of that game?!

I like the way you think!

There was however one noticeable exception: NfS Porsche Unleashed. Even the upgrades were realistic, no boost or other nonsense, instead you could specify lightened flywheels, different manifolds and air intakes among others.Valentin K wrote:NfS has always been arcade and will remain arcade.

No need to hide under a rock. The other 10 or how so games are just arcade (even if I liked the Hot Pursuit editions).
