I figured since I'm interested in this kind of thing, I would turn this into a "cars of the future" topic and post in here all the interesting/boring* articles I find. Feel free to join in or to ignore me.

Michelin's Active Wheel Technology

Seems genuinely innovative and forward thinking compared to most electric vehicle design.
