Re: a new level...
Man, Ea make a lot of games. I looked for five minutes on their site for F1v 2010 and could not find it.
So Don, is this a multiplayer game?
And Alph, the rFactor 2 prospects are looking very interesting. It "appear"s at this point that it will allow all the mods from V1 to run on the V2.
Hope they manage to get it out there this year.
I see there are a couple of racing games on Steam, anyone have any experience with them?

re mods - last I heard they will need some tweaks to run, but nothing major. Any renowned modders are chomping at the bit, so I expect re-releases will happen fast.Toad wrote:

btw, for anyone driving rF - the Virtual Online Racers season has started, with a new Euro series that needs some help. 40% DNF...never a better time to try it
Re: a new level...
Yes, actually i read they confirmed Xbox live support. I hope will be the same for the PS3.Toad wrote:So Don, is this a multiplayer game?
I looking forward to steam racing games, and I hope we'll receive something interesting, and we can try to move to a new racing game all together.Toad wrote:I see there are a couple of racing games on Steam, anyone have any experience with them?

Amen to that. They won't know what hit 'em!DonaemouS wrote:I looking forward to steam racing games, and I hope we'll receive something interesting, and we can try to move to a new racing game all together.
I've been playing Portal the last few days and having a great time - I find Portal infinitely more interesting than the seen-it-a-million-times FPS frag-battle. I hope Steam will eventually bring us an equally interesting racing game and it would be brilliant to see you all there. I don't want to see any God damned power ups on the track!

Finally, a modern game from Codemasters that is not yellow. Perhaps they've even fixed the other bad trait from DiRT: way yoo good brake performance on all surfaces? If they also add some serious voice acting (i.e. no over-enthusiastic arcade announcer), Codemasters and EA will get my money this time.
