Nice video. I don't really see the point of waiting though i mean the marshmelow is so small you might as well just eat the one and be happy.

The wait makes the two marshmallows taste much better, because you're building anticipation. Besides, I'd rather wait in suspense than having to blame myself for the rest of the day Wink

Kids want to be like parents in many ways, and being able to say "I waited and got two!" makes us feel like a grownup, in a good sense. And also there's the inevitable fact that two are twice as many as one, no matter how you look at it. If you were a kid and bragged about your deeds afterwards, what would you rather brag about? "I got two, that's one more than you"

Yeah but parents dont wait most of the time to get what they want I mean how else do you explain why so many people in america who have been evicted from their houses because they bought stuff they could not afford. And 1 marshmelow is not all the much better than one.
