How the hell did you find that? Retrace every step you took for a year in GE?
Re: The -I-got-Googled-streetviewed-with-my-car-topic
I guess he realized the Google car was passing him there - so he had just to look at this place after. Some cars are photographed a hundred times while they are following the photo car.
This spring lots of Germany cities will be included - I am very curious.

To protect people's privacy. License plates are also blurred.
Re: The -I-got-Googled-streetviewed-with-my-car-topic
But this "privacy protection" is a joke. You can identify a known person easily by clothes, haircut, CARS, bearing and so on.

Couldn't he just look where he saw the camera car? Somewhat related, has anyone heard of the time a top-secret sub propeller was photographed by a google satellite and put on google earth/satellite view of maps?

In de picture u see my son pointing at the car asking me 'dad, look at that strange car, what is that big thing on it?". i already knew they were doing Amsterdam last summer, was on the news. A couple of minutes later we moved on and we ended up behind the Google car, that was still doing that neighbourhood. Then I said to my son put your hands up! through the open roof, we booth did And i just memorized where we were that time. Knowing this has got to be a historical son-dad-moment.
Thursday streetview was launched here in Holland and i immediately browses to that address
But unfortunatly that image of us putting our hands through the roof did not show
So if they didn't do your town already, drive around a lot and keep your eyes open!!!

That's pretty cool. Canada raised a stink about privacy invasion, so they haven't got us on the map yet.T5 wrote:So if they didn't do your town already, drive around a lot and keep your eyes open!!!DANDY wrote:How the hell did you find that? Retrace every step you took for a year in GE?

The privacy concerns make me smile. Its easy really, if you stay indoors with the curtains closed they won't come and photograph you!
When they turn up around here I want to be in the photo in a clowns outfit, or maybe dressed as the stig.

But mapjack.com startet in Canada too now: (via www.mapjack.com [still] not reachable)
They included their (still starting) Canada service in this website: http://www.canpages.ca/business/BC/vancouver/banks/961-064200.html . You have to select the StreetView button inside the map. Mapjack pictures are often more detailed and sharper then Google Street View.
