rumors...
well, in first. I'm really proud this community is talking about me during games. This is just so important for me, cause it means I leave a mark.
I am not able to explain in english how this is important for me.
Otherwise, now lets answer to the rumors about my TTT drop. "Perhaps" someone is thinking I didn't join cause I was scared to be slower then other players. Or, worst, I'm not fast as the "good times". No, I'm not happy to ruin your hopes ( ). Perhaps there are new fast players, and I just love that, but I'm not slow.
I didn't join the TTT cause I didn't like the idea to start a new TT Tournament just after the Pastrl's one. Tournaments are thrilling cause they are different from each other. A new TTT is not what I was searching.
I already had my TTT, with an amazing, breathless, involving battle for the victory with the good Valentin K. I thought about the chance to have a new TTT like that but, in real life, the things never happens twice. So I decided to drop the TTT. This will let me to focus on Rocky Pass development, to model the new unrevealed plugin car, and getting skills to handle the Porsche 968 GT3, which Tomte give to me to WIN the GT3 Tournament.
So; no my good old and real friends. Don't hope I'm not fast anymore. I already played a couple of lap in C1. Yes, I have the IRC history in which in the first lap I did, I got 1:50'93. Today, I tried again, and in 4 laps:
This time is just the AVERAGE, and can be improved of about 0,7 seconds. I don't know if Valentin K can kill it with 1:48 or 1:47.
Again, I'm really proud you rely on me. Let's see on track...

Re: rumors...
Don, nobody was questioning your driving skills. I have to say its a bit odd you posting the screenshot and all the details of how easily you can beat Tell's time. Maybe you didn't intend it, but it seems like you are trying to undermine the new tournament...

Re: rumors...
Was not my intention insult the Tell skills, in fact I wrote how I am happy there are fast players around. The screenshot is just to show I didn't join cause "I am getting slow" and I'm ready to retire, but cause I just preferred to do other things.Pax-raider wrote:I have to say its a bit odd you posting the screenshot and all the details of how easily you can beat Tell's time.
Again no.Pax-raider wrote:Maybe you didn't intend it, but it seems like you are trying to undermine the new tournament...
Oh dear, I am always here, looking at results, writing comments on times, writing my feel and expectations, reading topics, sending pvt messages to Brook to make him know about the "new" plugin release.
Damn, I am just involved as much how the same people is playing the TTT and what I discover? People think I drop cause I'm getting slow. It was a joke? Yes? No? Anyway, the screenshot is for who is thinking this.
My hat off for Tell amazing time, but... let me say, I bet on Epeli...
Re: rumors...
Don, if you think people are questioning your abilities, than that is in your head (also known as paranoia ).
It was just a bit odd, not seeing you post times while before the tournament started you said:
I'm in
That's why I made a post to "lure" you out of your cave.
A simple "I don't participate this time, because..." after the questions rose would have sufficed.
And by the looks of it, Val has no interest this time also.
Well, no worries from my end. Sometimes people simply have no time.
And thank you for giving me a heads up on an update for one of your cars.
And about Tell... I "know" him from the HoF and he holds quite a few Formula 1 records. High grip cars might be a speciality of him, so it will be interesting to see how he performs through the rest of the tournament.
Please continue your wonderful work on Rocky Pass. The added scenery in latest release gave such an improvement on judging where you are. I was suddenly able to get my braking right for the hairpins.

Re: rumors...
We all know Don loves this game and this community. I think one phrase often sums up these discussions that start from his interpretation of something he read, and then everything that follows. That phrase would be:
