Not to be out-cheaped, I present the Jaguar XKR GT3
Morphed from the stock XKR, it's meant for racing, not for looking at.

In other news...
I took the liberty of modifying an existing car to slot into competition. The body is widened, a spoiler is added and it's tuned for competizione. It intentionally depends on the original plugin for textures, and is not meant as a replacement.
O padre ho peccato

Not wanting to be rude, but why do the skins look so scruffy - like it's been sitting in a barn for a decade?

Re: Morphology 100
it's mapped to small photos at angles, and the shininess map is on the light side.
Re: Morphology 100
I could easily re-create that for you as a proper high-resolution skin if you send me a source file.DANDY wrote:it's mapped to small photos at angles, and the shininess map is on the light side.

The XKR surely feels planted in corners, if slightly unwilling to turn in. The soft suspension reminds me of the 997, especially noticable on bumpy tracks.
In terms of performance, I think the car doesn't show its full potential.
The widened body looks strange, but I guess that was necessary to get the front wheels under the fenders?DANDY wrote:The body is widened, a spoiler is added and it's tuned for competizione.

Looks more realistic IMHO. The wheels seem a bit far inside the fenders though.

Pretty much. The real deal has wider fenders to fit the wheels, something I couldn't add to the original, so I widened the whole thing.
