Re: YUCK!!!
I assume you're talking about ASW's new site -
I like it except for how they integrated the forums - there's way too much cruft at the top of the page before you get to the meat.

Still down....
I'm assuming that everyone is aware that the individual game forums have all been wiped out, at least for the moment. This includes even the entire Redline forum, which one would have to hope will be restored eventually, but how far into the future????? I have no idea. In the meantime, this proves what a good idea it was for Leo to start this alternate forum.

Uh, they work for me (both before and after your post).
Redline forum.
Re: YUCK!!!
It's still there, you just have to go to support first, then click where it says forums. Why is it smaller now? That is horrible, and no color changes between topics on the list. The game site lost all of its individuality, just now a molded fill-in-the-blanks site.Battlewagon wrote:I'm assuming that everyone is aware that the individual game forums have all been wiped out, at least for the moment. Re: YUCK!!!
I have that huge gap at the top using Opera, no idea why.
I know that Opera is not a major player in terms of market share, but they brought quite a lot of innovation to browser market. I would assume that Ambrosia test their stuff... No problems with Safari, but Safari just doesn't cut if for me.

The design is, in overall terms, horrible. The webboard is almost hidden now, as without your advice I never would have found it. It's good that they preserved our board, but for how long????

Re: YUCK!!!
First impression: I actually prefer the new look compared to the old one. Not that there was anything wrong with the old look.

Well, it was a knock-off of Apple's website. I like the new design.

Re: YUCK!!!
It doesn't look like that to me. It looks the same as after they first changed it.alphonse wrote:Seems like they read our forum (intruder alert, intruder alert )

Re: YUCK!!!
just a tidbit ... seems flash clips are gone from the ambrosia boards as well with the new update
Re: YUCK!!!
Hmm. It's still the same for me in Safari... Although when I went to the forum using Opera it looked like that.
Re: YUCK!!!
I dont like it, but know I'll get used to it.
When ambrosia released 1.05 and we saw the changed logo, I stated somewhere they seemed to have hired a new designer that lacks taste. It seems to be spreading.

Re: YUCK!!!
It's working fine now with Opera, but the new layout makes it a bit more difficult to read on the phone.
In terms of visual style, I don't mind the current layout. I still get what I need.
